The Way to Happiness

L.J. completed The Way to Happiness course! Here is her Success Story:
I felt very inspired to continue being a “good” person by upholding the virtues. Although some may view this commitment as weakness or a flaw in my personality, I’ve learned that these people are very threatened by my own power. The best thing I can do to defeat them is to flourish and prosper. I have learned that stooping to people’s lower levels or life conditions is nonproductive and does not produce success- only being prosperous produces success.

Scientology Books Improving Life

CN completed the Handbook for Preclears/Life Continuum Book and Lecture Course. She says, "I really enjoyed this course. Scientology Courses Changing Lives

N.B. completed the book course on Dianetics:The Modern Science of Mental Health. "I feel proud that I completed a book like this. 500 pages! I got a lot out of it. To be honest when I first started I thought there was no way I’m going to get through this book but I did it and it helped me focus and kept me on the right track with my illness. Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health

L.J. completed the book course on Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health. Here's what she had to say:

"Through reading this book, I gained an awareness on how my closest and dearest family members have to some degree contributed to my reactive mind (although not on purpose of course). I understand now why I am such a trusting person. In other disciplines (such as psychology) there are theories that a person's degree of trust in the world relates to parental bonding. Dianetics points out that a caregiver may unknowingly construct an ally computation in the mind of a child who is sick or injured. A simple gesture of concern may be the basis of engrams, which may control the child’s view of others forever. Trust in anyone who resembles the ally or caregiver may lead to a false sense of security or cause you to stay in bad relationships. A person should have the discernment to see flaws or characteristics in the significant other. The reactive mind and ally computation work together to suspend good judgment in relationship forging. "

Life Continuum

C.N. had a success on the Life Continuum lectures:

"I was just sitting here listening to Ron and realized I was happy. Totally happy. And I understood why, where I hadn’t at other times when I studied LRH.

I am operating in futures on many dynamics. I’m learning how to handle my own facsimiles more and more. Playing Games!

J.C. works in retail at a popular clothing store in San Francisco. She has just completed the Book Course on Scientology: The Fundamentals of Thought. Here is her success story :

"It is my job to control many staff members and play the retail game with them. I have to have good control and create the business. I watched one of the staff members playing the game wrong and I saw this with my own eyes. She was going in the wrong direction of that game. I needed to guide her in the right direction so I stopped her game and made it clear for her to see what the right game was and the goal she had to get to and that she had to create this to get that goal. She smiled and I let her do it on her own. She immediately succeeded and I saw a great improvement in her. I was proud of myself for having good control and creating a cycle of action. I was even more happy that she created it on her own."

Recent Successes

Grammar and Communication Course

The book, Grammar and Communication:

• Communicates why grammar and word order are important to be understood.
• Communicates basic grammar concepts with easy to understand illustrations.
• Removes complexity from the subject.
• Teaches how grammar can be used to communicate. Instead of teaching a bunch of rules that one must learn to pass a test.

This book presents grammar in a logical, step-by-step sequence. It helps people to understand the basic building blocks of the English language and how to use those building blocks to better communicate, express their thoughts and understand what they read.

Personal Values and Integrity

N.K. completed the Life Improvement Course, Personal Values and Integrity. Here is what she has to say: Now I have the knowledge that has empowered me to take true responsibility for my decisions and have true control over my life. I'm not held down by the guilt of the past because I know that I am not those actions. And even more importantly, I know that I can create any action and response that I choose. Scientology Expanded Grade III

David completed Scientology Expanded Grade III today. On Grade III processes a person locates specific incidents where upsetting change occurred in life and addresses these so that they no longer adversely affect the person. Some of the processes also enhance the ability of the individual to create positive change in himself or his environment. This grade gives the person the freedom to face the future with freedom from the upsets of the past. Here is David's success story: "I have had many life changing sessions on this grade. I have had a lot of worry about life fade away. I can take what life has to give. In looking back on my life from this new viewpoint, it is difficult to find any periods that I would consider to be bad. Thank you Carol (his auditor). You rock. Thank you Ron for this grade. Student Success

Gary completed the Student Hat course and says, "I loved the new Student Hat Course. With all the updated material on what a misunderstood word is it is easier to identify and therefore clear any misunderstoods. The Golden Age of Tech drills are great and doing them has allowed me to gain certainty on each piece of study tech and application. Scientology Grade Zero - Communication Release

The ability to communicate is one of the most fundamental abilities of a being. The processes of Grade Zero address a person's ability to communicate and free him, in his own estimation, from any blocks in the area, thus restoring the ability to communicate to anyone about any subject. Ricky completed this Grade and says, "The relief I got to be able to communicate with others myself is so great! The added feature is the increased ARC with others and knowledge that goes along with it. I highly recommend this process to all!!" Here is a photo of Ricky and his auditor Carol.

Lisa finished Advanced Procedure and Axioms and Thought, Emotion and Effort Lectures Course “Wow! I finally get it. So many areas of this science that I never thought I would have the ability to understand truly make sense to the fullest. I have been on this course for a few months and it has been quite an adventure. I have had cognitions in session that I would never have spotted without this material. Cognitions that knocked my socks off and got me into valence! If I had to pick one datum as my favorite (which would be very difficult to do!), I would say this - I am cause and responsible for everything including my aberrations. Yeah, you've heard it said before and we say ‘that makes sense, I guess’. But it’s not true unless you really experience it for yourself. On this course I observed this datum to be true and I can finally take responsibility for it. Thank you Sir!!”

Problems of Work Course

Gia completed the Problems of Work book course and says,
"I decided to take this course to get some help in handling my problems at work. I was dealing with several management changes, low morale among staff, policy and organizational changes. Since beginning this course, I have applied some of the methods and I have experienced a boost in my overall participation in the changes. Scientology Grade Completion

Hildegarde (pictured on left with her auditor Hillary) completed Grade Zero Expanded! The auditing on this Grade results in a Communication Release where the preclear rehabilitates the freedom in communication and the ability to talk and listen to others about any subject. Here is her success story:
"During this auditing, I saw that I was truly not a very good participant in communication. I had many cognitions about my behavior, such as I interrupt too much, get nervous and my train of thought is confusing.
Now, my friends, my co-workers and the people around me notice the changes. They all say, 'There's something different about you.' The calmness and feeling comfortable is listening and observing people around me. I feel very comfortable in front of higher-ups and in discussing anything. Assist Seminar Results

Last week's Assist Seminar was a great success! Attendees learned how to do some basic assist processes and got to practice on each other. Here's what some had to say: Being at this lecture was an inspiration and a great reminder that I know how to use the information on assists." "I came to the realization that I can definitely be of aid to those who have aches and pains and even emotional disturbances. I can even apply these non-pharmacological techniques to patients."

Problems of Work course

"While reading one of the longest lists, I was having trouble thinking of instances to answer the question about recalling a time when I exerting my command over an object. Like a lightning bolt, a moment from my childhood when I played soccer rushed in. It was SO funny to me to remember the incident. Everthing was vivid. Every emotion was in the present. and right there in the course room for several minutes straight, I was having the most uncontrollable bout of laughter. I laughed so much that my eyes were watering and tears managed to escape down my cheek. Energy flooded my body and at roughly 9 PM at the end of a long and busy day, I felt a new rush of vigor. It was beyond great - AMAZING!"

Recall Release

ARC* Straightwire* called Recall Release is a Grade in Scientology^® auditing that addresses a person's ability to recall. The abilities gained from this auditing is: freedom from deterioration; has hope; the person knows he/she won't get worse. Ricky completed this Grade and wrote this success story:

How to work your life so it works for you

This Saturday, March 1st at 4 PM the Saturday Seminar will be on the subject of work. Dolan Williams will go over using the book, The Problems of Work. It contains the application of Scientology^® principles to the workaday world. By use of these principles, work ceases to be mere drudgery, stress and exhaustion and becomes a stable, productive activity filled with purpose and personal satisfaction. The book contains drills and procedures you can use to immediately increase ability and competence at work.
